Made From Our Trees, For Our Trees
Every October, we collect the by-products from our walnut harvest to create a nutrient-rich compost. This compost incorporates any hulls, damaged walnuts, and the waste water from our huller. We combine it with walnut chip that is made from pruning the trees. This practice is another way we reduce our waste streams.
